The JNTUH College of Engineering Manthani is established in the year 2010 as a Constituent College of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad vide G.O. Ms. No. 21, Higher Education (E.C.I) Department dated 25.03.2010 to provide Engineering Education to the rural youth of the backward districts of Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nizamabad and Warangal of Andhra Pradesh State. This College has been supported by M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited for infrastructural development. As a Social obligation the University permitted to provide 5% supernumerary seats in each discipline to the Children’s of the Employees of the M/s. Singareni Collieries Company Limited. The Academic Block is under construction and will be completed by the end of March 2013. The construction of Boys & Girls hostels will be completed by the end of 2014.

B.Tech Civil Engineering will be looked after by amenity professor Dr K.V.Sharma, Prof. in Energy. B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering will be looked after by a senior and well Experience Prof. Dr.N.V.Ramana, Prof. in EEE. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering branch will be headed by Dr.K.Prasanna Lakshmi, Asst. Prof in ME. B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering will be headed by Dr. K. Shahu Chatrapati, Asst. Prof in CSE. B.Tech Mining Engineering & B.Tech Mining Machinery will be looked after by Dr.K.Prasanna Lakshmi, Asst. Prof in ME & Head. Sri M.Uday Kumar, Assoc. Prof in CSE is working as Vice-Principal of the College and also the Incharge of Examination and he is striving hard in utilizing services of the Teaching members for    maximum benefit of the students in Academic arena.  The faculty work under the guidance of Dr. B. Balu Naik, Principal & Professor in Mechanical Engineering, who is an young team leader joined recently on 7th Dec,2012.  The faculty is striving to provide maximum support to the students for imparting Technical skills. The main objective of the faculty is to give a quality Education of International standard to the students who are mostly from rural background. The Sports wing of the College is going to be strengthening with gym for both Boys & Girls and arranging the play ground for various sports within the campus is under serious considerations.

VISION OF THE TEAM:-  To make the students self sufficient not only in Education but also in their respective branch.   It is our motto the students who came out of this College shall be useful to the society in generally and further self in particulars. The whole team is striving to give a mark in the map of the Engineering Education.
